If you use social media, then it’s not news to you that society, and influencers, are redefining what "beauty" looks like. Louisa Northcote is one of these online activists, best known for her #FreethePimple movement encouraging those dealing with acne to embrace their skin as is; because spots and scars can be beautiful, too.
We know that dealing with acne can be exhausting due to its emotional, physical, and psychological impact. Oftentimes creams and cleansers just don’t cut it, and pharmaceuticals can pose risks that make them not suitable for some patients. Northcote explained to us that she had tried so many different products and was tired of the negative comments and airbrushed ads floating around the internet.
Then she was introduced to Kleresca®.
At Kleresca®, we work to alleviate the burden of acne and empower patients to make choices that are safe for their physical and mental well-being. It’s gentle and non-invasive, and results can last for up to a year and above. But, enough from us. We caught up with Louisa after she finished her Kleresca® Acne Treatment, so we’ll let her tell the story in her own words.
At Kleresca®, our aim is to help people feel good about their skin. That means we educate, empower and ultimately offer solutions to help with acne, rosacea, and skin ageing. We plan to change the game of dermatology through innovate treatments using fluorescent light energy. Learn more via our social media channels below
